We had to go back to the tax office twice today!   We are still struggling with getting the taxes entered online.  We worked on them for several hours this morning; after we got everything entered; names, tax ID numbers, salary, social security, and job titles the computer would not accept the form.  Please, so we headed back to the tax office and we were told that we had used last year’s form instead of this year’s form.  We were assured that if we re-entered all the data on the new form it would be accepted.  Well, you know where I am going with this story don’t you?  After everything was re-entered it still would not accept the form.  By the time Steve got everything re-entered the tax office had closed for the day!  Guess where we will be tomorrow?

Zorash brought 10 bowls of soybeans to work this morning.  She said someone in her neighborhood was selling her soybeans and she had 10 bowls left that she needed to sell.  10 bowls of soybeans weigh about 50 pounds.  We did not really need soybeans because I have 5 or 6 bowls in the freezer and this is the highest time of the year to buy soybeans because it is near the end of the dry season and the cost of all grain is high right now.  You know me, I felt sorry for the woman and went ahead and bought them.  We can use them to make weaning mix or soybean kabobs.

Guess what?  Mr. Iddrisu burned out another clutch in the motor king.  I predicted that we would not be able to finish the wall project without another clutch going out because Mr. Iddrisu rides the clutch.  He does not know how to gear down to slow the motor king or how to gear up after the motor king takes off.  This time Solomon the mechanic also changed the clutch housing; he thinks that will help the clutch last longer.  Solomon was so surprised that the clutch burned out in just 5 days!  He had to admit it was an operational error.  Oh! Well, it is what it is!  Maybe we can get the wall project finished before it goes out again.

We are having homemade pizza for supper.  I don’t make it very often because it is very labor intensive because I have to make the dough, let it rise and make the sauce from scratch but it will be delicious!

Take care and have a great day!

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
