We changed our walking routine this morning and went down to inspect the cement fence that Nazo had painted with the tar mixture yesterday. I told Kandie it reminds me of the story of the pitch (tar) that Noah used on the ark.  Using the tar mixture should help reduce the fungus growing on the wall during the rainy season.

After worship time this morning I drove to town to send some mobile money to Brother Moses Naloni. Moses is a church leader from the village of Mempeasam, south of Yendi in the Nanumba district.  Moses called last night asking for   financial help for the Church to electrify the building.  I promised to send help. The small congregation had half the money needed for the project.

Two church brothers from Bagjon and Timothy Niligrini came yesterday with a problem. Bagjon is in the same area as Mempeasam.  One of their male members died on Election Day. For some reason the body was sent to the morgue in Yendi.  The Church has taken on the responsibility of the burial; they were asking for financial assistance.   After much deliberation we decided to help with some money to purchase food that will be served at the burial. We thank our supporters that provide money for “Whatever comes up” which allowed us to help the congregation.

I helped Kandie work on the financial books this afternoon.  We are so thankful we have finished this project so we can drop off the annual audit paperwork this coming Friday when we go to Tamale to fly down to Accra.  That is a big weight lifted off my bookkeeper.

Later in the afternoon   Brother Divine came to the mission house to pick up the paperwork for the church registration renewals .That was another item we could mark off of our “to do list”. We are fortunate that Divine has taken on this responsibility.   With the coronavirus still raging we are not sure what will happen.

That wraps it up for today. Hope you are having a good Lord’s Day and staying healthy. Please remember the sick in your prayers and we will do the same. May God bless!

In His service,

Stephen and Kandie Taylor
