As soon as the Child Center closed today we headed to town.  Zorash told us that she had heard the price of cooking oil was going to go up so we thought that we needed to get to town and buy the oil we will use during the seminar.  We bought 35 gallons of oil for the seminar, 5 gallons for the malnourished babies and 5 gallons to divide among the workers for a holiday gift.  We will leave it for them so that they will have something nice for the holidays.  While we were in the market we found a lady that was selling the large industrial cans of tomato paste which we also need for the seminar.  We bought the tomato paste, bouillon cubes, hot chocolate mix and coffee creamer.  While we were buying the oil Steve saw the Nestle’s truck and bought formula for the Child Center.  All in all we had a good day of hunting and gathering.  Steve off loaded most of the stuff on the veranda; he covered it with a tarp to keep prying eyes and dust off of it.

The roofers did not finish the rafters today as they had expected  but they feel certain that they will finish tomorrow.  Dawda the mason was supposed to stop by this afternoon to talk to us about what he needed to add the extra blocks but he called and said that something came up and he could not come.  Steve told him that all we wanted was to know where to rent the scaffolding from so that we would have everything ready when he came.

Steve spent part of the day working on his lessons for the seminar.  Red stopped by and said that he had finished the metal outhouse and it was ready to be delivered but when Steve called Timothy Niligrini he said that none of the church men were around to help off load, dig holes for the legs and set it up so we will have to wait until another day to haul it out there.  We may have to do it on Friday; the men usually do not go to the farms on Friday.

Steve got most of the programs for the seminar printed today; he still has to fold them but that is another job that we can mark off the ever growing LIST!  The seminar is next week; it begins on Thursday and ends on Saturday.  We would appreciate your prayers for the seminar and for the safety of those coming to the seminar.  The seminar is the highlight of the year for the churches that we work with.

Thank you for the love, prayers and support.

In HIS Service,

Steve and Kandie
