We made it to Accra without any problems.  The air conditioner in our hotel room was not working very well.  The manager was not around but the workers were very kind.  They changed us to another room.  That air conditioner was not working either.  They ran for a few minutes and then the compressor went off.  When the manger came he changed us to another room.  The air conditioner in that room did the same thing.  Come to find out the electricity was too low to run the compressor and only the fans were coming on.  We have the same problem at times in Yendi.  The biggest problem with that dirty electricity is that it will burn up the appliances.  He said that it usually stabilizes around 6:00pm after all the businesses close for the day.  After we came back from eating supper our room was nice and cool finally!  It could be worse.  One time when we came to the hotel it was full and they only had 2 rooms left.  One room did not have running water and the other did not have air conditioning.  They gave us both rooms.  One room was on the first floor and the other was on the second floor.   When we wanted to shower or use the bathroom we came down stairs and when we wanted to nap, watch TV or sleep we went upstairs.  It was sort of like living in a 2 story house.

My Steve has been in contact with Steve Carr and John Colgan today.  They are excited about coming. They should be in New York right now.  They have a long flight ahead of them, almost 10 hours.  Please pray that they have a safe flight.

I don’t have much else to tell so I will close for now.

Good Night.

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
