Happy Thanksgiving!  Hope you are having a wonderful day surrounded by family and friends.  We are spending the day at Mole (Mo-lay) the largest game reserve in Ghana.  Steve, Steve Carr and John just got back from the afternoon safari.  Steve said they saw lots of animals but they did not see any elephants.  Mole got a rain yesterday which means the elephants don’t have to come out of the bush to get something to drink unless they want to.  At noon they did see on down by the watering hole but that is not as exciting as seeing them up close.  We usually stay around and go on the morning safari but they are working on the bridge that crosses the “White Volta” river and it will be closed tomorrow at 10:00 so we are going to have to get up early tomorrow so we can cross the bridge before it is closed for the day.  The guys are enjoying themselves.

We had a good ride over this morning and the air conditioner worked the whole way.  We were not driving during the hottest part of the day but it seems to be doing better than it was yesterday.  The problem we had today was that the van was shaking terrible when Red got up to a certain speed.  We suspect that a weight came off one of the tires.  Tomorrow when we get back to Tamale we are going to have the tires balanced.  In a couple weeks we will be making the long trip to Accra and we want to fix that problem if possible.

Thank you for all the love, prayers and support.

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
