Today we traveled south on the Bimbilla Road to the village of Nakpachee. The village is located about 10-12 miles from Yendi. Since this road is part of the Eastern Corridor; it is newly paved. I didn’t see one pot hole in the road.

When we arrived Brother Super suggested we visit the chief before the services started; so we did. This chief has known us for many years. He was pleased to see us again.

Back at the Church building I asked what subject they would like us (Timothy Niligrini and I) to preach about.  The subject of marriage was suggested so we made sure to accommodate the request. I talked about making soup in my lesson.  I used the analogy of what good ingredients make a fine soup to eat and then I pretended to make a marriage soup and what is needed to make a good marriage.

After services Kandie and I became goats.  I brought a rope from the pickup.  Kandie was pulling on one end and I had the other end and was pulling the opposite way. The audience seems to always get a kick whenever we do this; but it really illustrates the importance of working together. If the husband and wife are always pulling in opposite directions like the goats the marriage will go nowhere. On the other hand the husband and wife working as a team in the same direction benefits both people in the relationship.

It was also brought to our attention that the window frames in the building have got major termite damage. This congregation doesn’t have many older men so it is sometimes difficult to get things done. I want the church to see what they can do financially to help and we will match their funds. It amazes me how quickly termites can devour wood here.

That wraps up our Lord’s Day. Hope you all are doing well. We appreciate your interest in the work. May God bless!

In His service,

Stephen and Kandie Taylor
