After worship this morning we left for Tamale Airport. Red drove us so he could bring the van back to Yendi. We didn’t have any hiccups getting to the airport but the waiting area where we had to sit before going through the x-ray machine didn’t have any air conditioning. There were more people in that area than lice on a hen’s roost. The boarding area was cooler so we got some relief from the heat.
We arrived in Accra around 5pm and we hustled to the hotel so we could get something to eat before it got dark. I took Kandie to the Palace Chinese restaurant for supper. Some of you that have visited us know how good the food is. We hesitated going out because we knew it would be dark when we were ready to go back to the hotel but the nicest taxi driver picked us up and only charged us 10 Cedis to take us back. He said he doesn’t drive during the day because of all the traffic. We even tipped him 5 Cedis which we never do!
Our flight to Takoradi leaves at 7:20 am so we have to be at the airport by 6:20 am. It is going to be a short night. Please keep us in your prayers.
Hope you have a good Lord’s Day! We pray for your good health.
In His service,
Stephen and Kandie Taylor
