We had a difficult time trying to get ourselves righted around this morning before we left for the village of Bincheratanga.   We had to get the iced water packed in the cooler so the masons could have some for today. Also the 4 doors and 4 windows had to be loaded on the motor king so Iddrisu could take them out to Kulkpeni for the masons to install them. Since Timothy Niligrini was here as well as Mr. Iddrisu I went online to check their pension information to make any updates. I needed the men to have their cell phones with them because the website requires a 6 number verification code that is sent to the individuals cell phones to proceed with updates.  Four out of the six employees that I have checked on had incorrect information that had to be fixed on the update.

I’m glad that Bincheratanga is located right on the good main road south of Yendi.  It didn’t take 30 minutes to get there. This congregation is small and struggling.  There were a total of 11 people present for the service. I taught the extra long bible class about the kind of music God wants in worship as requested by the church leader. We sent the chief’s kola with one of the brothers because the chief had just returned from the farm and we didn’t want to bother him.  The chiefs like to look nice to receive guests and the men saw the chief pass by a few minutes before we closed the service so we would have had to wait for him to take a bath and get dressed so we sent our kola to him via a church member.

Later in the afternoon Dawda, the mason, stopped by to get paid for installing the doors and windows and tell us what they will need tomorrow when the masons start plastering the building at Kulkpeni.

As we were leaving the compound this evening for Kulkpeni Brother Divine met us down the lane to inquire about the paperwork that is needed to be sent for two of the congregations. Oh, I forgot to mention that last night Brother Divine called about 9:30 pmsaying two of the congregations didn’t have the updated forms that were needed for filing. That’s strange since they were supposed to be imputed in 2022.  We have the copies of the forms that were filled out and date stamped but somehow these forms didn’t get put in the system. We have a good suspicion as to what happened and it wasn’t on our end.

We hope you had a good day. Our day was hot, if you noticed the temperature at the top of the email.  Thank the Lord for air conditioning!  May God bless!

In His service,

Stephen and Kandie Taylor
