Red stopped by this afternoon to deliver the small sign boards that we had him make for the new buildings at the back of the mission property.  All three of the buildings look alike and it is difficult to tell the workers where to put the things that we are storing in the buildings.  We decided that we needed to name each of the buildings so we would know where things were.  Steve has already numbered each of the 4 rooms in each of the buildings.  Red made metal signs that are inside a metal frame for the buildings.  Now we will have “Block A, Block B, Block C and Block D”.

Mr. Iddrisu went back to the eye doctor for the recheck on his cataract surgery.  The doctor released him and he is planning on coming back to work tomorrow.  He said that the eye was not completely healed and he gave him 2 types of eye drops to use every day.  He is still not able to do heavy work but he can go back to riding his motorcycle and doing light work.

Nazo has been without his bicycle for a couple weeks.  One of his children is using it to go to and from school because his is broken.  Today Nazo asked for a loan to repair the bicycles; he will repay the loan by working on his days off for the next few weeks.

Meri’s baby is supposed to come sometime this month.  She is huge and exhausted.  I cannot imagine being big, fat and pregnant in this heat!  Today was Yendi’s big market day so she was going to go to the market and buy all the things that she will need when the baby comes.

Two of the brothers from Sobobito church came to the mission house today.  They are going to start molding blocks for their new church building.  We had promised to buy the cement if they would get the gravel and pay for the mason.  We gave them enough cement money today to mold 1,000 blocks.  The mason estimates that they will need 1,500 blocks.  When they get ready to mold more blocks we will help them.   Thank you so much for those that help with evangelism.

Enjoy your day and please keep us in your prayers.

In His Service,

Steve and Kandie
