I about had a heart palpitation this morning!  I sat down at the computer to enter the receipts for March and part of my Excel program was not there!  I worked on the program last month and everything worked just fine.  The part that was missing was the bottom toolbar that allows me to jump from one category to the next.  We have money in all sorts of pots; we have money for evangelism, babies, salary, whatever comes up, vehicles, work fund and building.  We are very careful to make sure that the money people give us goes to the part of the work that they are interested in helping with.  The only category that I could see was the vehicle repair.  I panicked!  I thought I was going to have to call my children for backup help!  I was wishing that Marcus and Evan were still here; I am sure they could have solved the problem in no time!  Steve came to my rescue and Googled the problem.  After almost giving up we hit something or the other and the bar popped up!  I was so happy!  We don’t know what we did to fix it but at least I am back up and running!  Computers are wonderful but they are only as smart as their operator; hence the reason we have problems with ours!

The Nestle’s distributor called this afternoon and said that the baby formula had arrived and he wanted to know if we still wanted 30 cases.  Yes!  We still want it!  Steve had him check the expiration date and it is good until 2027.  He said that it should be here next week.  Zorash told us that we should cancel our order from Tamale but with such a long expiration date we will have no problem distributing it before it expires.  We will pack it to the ceiling in the storeroom!

Gomda, the mechanic, is ordering a used tailgate for the green truck.  Many years ago someone borrowed the truck and they used it to haul 55 gallon drums of water.  They did not put the barrels up in the bed of the truck; they sat them on the tailgate and it has never worked correctly since.  Gomda and the body guy in Yendi have worked on it several times but it is not right!  Steve is afraid that we will be driving on one of these rough roads and the tailgate will pop open and everything and everybody in the back of the truck will come rolling out.  He could not find the exact year / model but he said that the newer hard body gates will fit.

We thought that we were going to get some rain; the sky got dark and the wind started blowing but no rain appeared!  We hope that it might blow back around later tonight.  I did not check the high temperature today but yesterday our high was 111 degrees with a heat index of 124 degrees.

Thank you for all you do for us and for the work!

I did much better today than I did yesterday!  Mom only had to put me in time out one time today!  It was the first thing this morning and Dad took something away from me and I nipped him and then stood back and made aggressive jesters at him; I made ugly faces and showed my teeth and stomped my feet!  I was in the process of throwing a very nice fit when Mom grabbed me up and tried to put me in the time out box.  It is difficult to get me in the time out box when I basically have 4 sets of hands to grab hold of things with.  Of course I was screaming and protesting loudly.  Dad then turned the crate on its end and Mom dropped me down in the crate; they had the door shut before I knew what was going on!  How dare they change the rules in the middle of the game!   When I got out of the cage I was very apologetic!  I climbed up in Dad’s lap and groomed him for a long time!  I don’t really mean to hurt anyone; I am really a nice guy with anger issues!

The time out box is sitting on the floor so it is a constant reminder for me to try to be good!  Today I could reach the time out box and I had a great time pushing the door shut and watching it reopen.  Now mind you I did not get close enough to the box to have to worry about getting shoved in there!  Maybe one day we can retire the time out crate!

EVERYONE MUST PLAY BY THE RULES!!!
